Homebound Services

If you are temporarily or permanently homebound, the Westmont Public Library will deliver library materials right to your door! We will also pick up borrowed materials at your home and return them to the library--all for no charge. A volunteer picks up and delivers materials once every three weeks, usually on Thursday afternoons. And most materials can be borrowed for three weeks, with one renewal allowed if the item has not been reserved.

Homebound patrons can borrow the same materials available to our walk-in patrons, including:

  • Books (regular & large print)
  • Paperbacks
  • Books on CD
  • Music CDs
  • Videos
  • DVDs
  • Magazines
  • Children's books, CDs and videos.

Also available are Reference services from our highly-skilled Reference staff.
